Luis LM Aguiar is associate professor in sociology at university of British Columbia. He’s interests lie in the study of unions and low wage workers. Dr. Aguiar is completing a SSHRC funded research project on unions organizing across international borders with respect to improve the working and living conditions of global cleaner.
